Always use OneDrive

Always work on and save your documents in OneDrive – Lely, not in your local laptop environment. Your files could be lost in the event of hacking or a data breach affecting Lely. It is therefore important to save your files in the OneDrive and SharePoint cloud apps.

Be careful when opening e-mails from unknown senders

Don’t click on unknown links. Phishing is still one of the biggest threats to Lely. In order to reduce the risk, it is important that you are always aware of unknown senders and strange-looking links.

Only use work devices for work-related matters

Separate work and private devices. This is very important, because most Lely devices are connected to the Lely network. Using these devices for personal purposes increases the risk of hacking of Lely systems.

Secure your devices properly

Install updates as soon as they are available. For example, if your Lely device prompts you to update, do so immediately, as updates often include new security measures.

Do not share sensitive information

Only share sensitive information with persons who need to know. For example, if you work with customers’ data or intellectual property, it is important to keep this information within the dedicated department only. When meeting a colleague at the coffee machine, this is not a suitable topic to discuss.
