'Technology is changing fast, and we keep improving to meet the needs of our Lely Centers and customers. What products or features should Lely focus on in the next five years?'
What’s your opinion and why?
Fabien: ‘Lely has a great chance to lead by making a smart system that brings all key info - like sales, technical data, and FMS - into one easy-to-use dashboard. This would help Lely Centers track their goals, compare results and improve faster. It would also make the quarterly review process easier and reduce the need for many different tools. A shared platform like this would help us work better together and keep improving.'

What’s your opinion and why?
Shawn: ‘In Australia and New Zealand, many dairy farms are very large, with over 500 cows. Some farms milk up to 2,000 cows. Our current solutions don’t fully meet their needs. Lely should develop systems that work for bigger herds and integrate fully with Horizon. More automation would save labour, help cows stay healthy and support data-driven decisions. Also, optimising the integration between Vector and Juno better could help large farms feed cows more efficiently and increase milk production. This would help us grow in this important market.'

What’s your opinion and why?
Ilhan: 'Farmers today face big risks from diseases that can spread easily on farms. These often come from animals, people, equipment or even birds. Lely should focus more on new biosecurity solutions, like smart cleaning systems, tools to manage visitors, and monitoring technologies. These can help farmers keep their animals healthy and improve safety on the farm. This focus not only meets a critical need, but also strengthens our role as an innovation leader in sustainable farming.'

What’s your opinion and why?
Ben: 'Offering pre-owned equipment helps us innovate and makes our products more affordable. In the next five years, we should grow our pre-owned portfolio—not just for milking robots, but also for feeding and manure solutions. This supports our existing customers, helps Lely Centers refresh their installed base and keeps high-quality products in the market. It’s a smart way to stay ahead, keep customers satisfied and meet future needs.'
